Built for creative testing
Treat generation cost like media spend: draft wide, spend narrow. Seedance Pro renders fast and cheap — use it to explore ten hooks, backdrops, or motion ideas. When one clearly wins on feel (or on actual ad-platform data), rerun the exact prompt on a premium model like Veo 3.1 Lite or Kling 3 for the production version.
Vary one element per test, like proper creative experiments: same product, different backdrop; same backdrop, different camera energy; same everything, different opening moment. Because the prompt is text, your variations are documented by default.
The first second is the whole ad
Scroll platforms decide your fate in the opening frames, so front-load the motion. Nidhogg's punchier camera presets exist for exactly this: zoom-punch and crash-zoom hit hard in frame one, whip-pan yanks attention sideways, and speed-ramp gives you the freeze-then-slam rhythm that dominates product ads.
Prompt the hook explicitly: 'the sneaker drops into frame and bounces' beats 'a sneaker on a yellow background'. Verbs are hooks; nouns are wallpaper.
UGC energy or studio polish — prompt the register
Marketing video has two accents. UGC-style reads authentic: prompt 'handheld, natural window light, real kitchen counter, casual energy' and keep the motion subtle. Studio-style reads premium: 'seamless backdrop, hard rim light, reflective surface, commercial lighting'. Both work; what fails is mixing registers in one clip.
Match the register to the placement: UGC-style for feed-native ads that shouldn't feel like ads, studio polish for retargeting, product pages, and anywhere the viewer already knows you're selling.
Templates and multi-format delivery
The Apps library carries pre-built marketing workflows — ad reel, six-second ad, sale hype reel, unboxing tease, product reveal — that encode the structure so you only supply the product and the offer. They're the fastest route from brief to first draft.
For multi-placement campaigns, generate the hero clip once and convert it to other aspect ratios with the built-in reframe tool, or regenerate the same prompt in a new format. One winning creative becomes a full placement set.
