The service

Nidhogg is an AI creative suite: you write prompts (and optionally supply reference media), and third-party AI models generate images, video, and audio on your behalf.
The service is in closed beta. Access requires an invite, features may change or be withdrawn, and availability is not guaranteed.

You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.
Generation is metered in credits. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and beta-granted credits may be adjusted or expired when the beta ends.
If a generation fails on our side, the charged credits are refunded to your balance.

Nidhogg is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you confirm this at registration. We record the time of that confirmation. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, we will close it and delete its data.

You keep ownership of the prompts and media you upload and, to the extent permitted by the underlying model providers' terms, of the results you generate.
You grant us the license needed to operate the service: storing your content, sending it to the model provider you selected, and — only if you publish a generation — displaying it in the community feed.
You are responsible for having the rights to any reference media you upload (including likeness rights for photos of real people).

When you upload photos of a real person to train a character, you promise that the person is an adult and has given you explicit permission for their likeness to be used this way — or that the person is you. We may ask for evidence of that permission and may delete a character if it isn't provided.
You may not train a character on a public figure, a private person who hasn't consented, or a minor — full stop. Doing so is grounds for immediate account termination.
Face photos are sensitive data. See the Privacy Policy for exactly how long we keep training photos and how deletion works.

Absolutely prohibited, with no exceptions and no appeal to artistic intent: any sexual content involving minors or characters presented as minors; non-consensual intimate imagery of real people, including 'undressing' or sexualized deepfakes; content that instructs or facilitates serious violence, terrorism, or the making of weapons.
Also prohibited: deceptive impersonation of real people (fabricated statements, fake endorsements, fraudulent identity documents); content designed to defraud, defame, or harass a person; and any content that is illegal where you use the service or where we operate.
Prompts and outputs pass automated moderation. Attempting to bypass moderation — obfuscated prompts, safety-parameter tampering, re-uploading blocked content — is itself a violation, whether or not the attempt succeeds.
No abuse of the platform itself: rate-limit evasion, credit-system exploitation, or automated scraping of other users' content.

We may remove or block any content, unpublish any public post, disable a trained character, suspend or terminate an account, and — where the law requires — preserve evidence and report to authorities (for example, apparent child sexual abuse material is reported, not just deleted).
When we block or remove something, we tell you what happened and why, except where notifying you is legally prohibited.
Anyone can report content; rights holders and people depicted can request takedown at legal@nidhogg.ai. We review reports promptly and act on valid ones.

AI outputs can be wrong, biased, or similar to other users' outputs for similar prompts. Review results before relying on them.
The service is provided “as is” during beta, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

You can delete your account from Settings at any time. Deletion runs after a 7-day grace period (so a mis-click is recoverable), then permanently erases your characters — including all face-training photos — your generations, uploads, and profile.
Billing and payment records are retained after deletion as required by accounting and tax law; moderation decisions are retained for up to one year as legal evidence. Neither is used for anything else. Details in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in-product, and continued use after a change means acceptance.
